Roles and responsibilities
-Oversee vessel operations and performance while ensuring HSE standards
-Manage and support captains in terms of objectives and evaluation.
-Ensure client satisfaction in conjunction and deliver vessel services in line with the contract and the budget.
-Control audits monitoring for assigned fleet, verify corrective actions and ensure effective closure.
- Implement and promote HSE culture within the assigned fleet ensuring compliance with Bourbon standards (Emergency drills, incidents, code of conduct).
-Act as the designated person and main liaison for the captain and internal stakeholders.
-Responsible for management of all vessel’s certificates.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
-Have at least 5 years of experience as Master or in similar position in a Maritime or oil and gas company. A seagoing experience would be a plus;
-Hold minimum a Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in maritime studies;
-You have a strong knowledge of the different Offshore Supply Vessels operations techniques and regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO, OSHA);
-You have know-how to promote and lead HSE culture and awareness and to analyze and manage incidents;
-You are extremely organized and rigorous and you interact, produce and report with a professional approach at all times;
-You must be at ease with budget and change management.
-A perfect command of English is mandatory and any other language will be an advantage.
