Job description
The ideal candidate will be involved managing foreign creditors, managing foreign exchange transactions, and preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reports and forecasts. 2 years or more experience in accounting, company related tax, treasury, balance sheet reconciliation, forecasting will be advantageous. They must have strong interpersonal skills and want to join a fast paced, high-performance team.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing departmental income statement expenses
- Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reports, and forecasts
- Managing foreign exchange (Forex) transactions
- Preparing and submitting tax returns
- Managing foreign creditors
- Managing of fixed assets
- Creating ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting
- 2 years or more relevant experience
- IFRS
- Tax Act (Vat, tax & customs)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
