Job description

Key responsibilities

Revit modelling and documentation

• Develop detailed 3D models of architectural and interior designs using Autodesk Revit
• Prepare comprehensive commercial interior drawing packages for offices, hospitality, and mixed-use projects
• Produce high-quality construction documents and technical drawings from Revit models
• Ensure all drawings and models comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements

BIM management and coordination

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of BIM model standards and management practices
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts proactively
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project integration
• Update and maintain Revit models throughout the entire project lifecycle

Collaboration and design integration

• Interpret design sketches and specifications to create precise 2D and 3D models
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate design changes, upgrades, and client feedback
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain project accuracy and quality
• Support the design team with technical expertise and problem-solving

Quality Assurance

• Maintain project documentation throughout design and construction phases
• Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and best practices
• Review and quality-check drawings before submission

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, architectural technology, draughting, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years' experience as an architectural draftsman or technologist
• Strong focus on Autodesk Revit for commercial and hospitality projects
• Proven experience in commercial interior design and hospitality environments

Technical Skills (Essential):

• Autodesk revit – Advanced proficiency (essential)
• AutoCAD – Proficient (advantageous)
• SketchUp – Experienced
• Rhino – Experienced
• Enscape – Rendering and visualization
• Grasshopper – Parametric design (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and standards
• Experience with clash detection and coordination tools
