Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Artisan Electrician to join their company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all plant and equipment are operational from an electrical perspective to minimize downtime and prevent faults.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns efficiently and accurately.
- Perform regular proactive maintenance on equipment to prevent failures, in line with maintenance schedules.
- Execute planned maintenance activities according to schedules to maintain equipment reliability.
- Comply with all relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) regulations during maintenance activities, including preparation of safety documentation as required.
- Source parts, spares, and equipment as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Assist and collaborate with team members in the maintenance of machinery and provide on-the-job training where necessary.
- Supervise and support assistants or contractors performing maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular lockouts of systems as required for safety and maintenance purposes.
- Be available to work on standby and rotational shifts as required to ensure continuous operational support.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrical)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician
- Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- 5 years’ experience in HT Switching
- Valid Driver’s License
