What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation, collation, and submission of various tax returns (e.g., Provisional Tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE) for individuals and companies.

Administrative Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client tax files, ensuring all required documentation is collected and organized efficiently.

SARS Correspondence: Assist in managing routine correspondence with SARS, including checking tax directives, handling assessment queries, and tracking submission deadlines.

Data & System Input: Accurately capture financial and tax data into specialized tax software and internal systems.

Client Communication: Facilitate basic communication with clients to request outstanding documents and confirm submission details.

Audit Documentation: Assist the senior team in compiling documentation and supporting schedules required for tax audits and reviews.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Relevant qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.

Experience: Some administrative experience, preferably gained within an Audit or Accounting firm environment, is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to tax or accounting software (e.g., eFiling, EasyFile) is a plus.
