Bobst Die Cutting Shift Supervisor (Packaging) (Durban)

Job description

Shift supervision and overseeing the die cutting operations within a printed carton packaging manufacturing environment. Full responsibility for the smooth running of the Department including management of people and processes, supervision of die cutting, machinery, production planning and processes, maintenance, material control, consumables, work tickets, quality, health and safety and management of the ERP system.

Requirements

• Grade 12 plus relevant tertiary qualification - Print/Packaging/Craton Machine Minder Trade Qualified
• Experience: staff supervision, packaging manufacturing, die shop experience, flexo printing, pre-make ready
• Machine knowledge: Bobst Vision Cut/Blanking system, Bobst Nova Cut, Bobst 142
• Advanced MS Office plus working knowledge of computerised ERP/CRM systems
• Able to work shifts
• Own transport

Ideally: Trade Training Instructor, City and Guilds
