Job description
A premium, doctor-led skin and wellness brand with multiple clinic locations is seeking a full-time Brand Content and Social Media Specialist to elevate its digital presence and brand perception.
This is a hands-on creative role focused primarily on high-quality content production and daily social media execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and publishing professional video and visual content that reflects a premium medical brand.
The role is based in Hilton / Pietermaritzburg, with bi-weekly travel to Ballito for content production.
Key responsibilities:
- Film high-quality educational and clinical content in a professional medical environment
- Capture treatment footage within ethical and consent guidelines
- Produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Create visually consistent, premium digital content aligned with brand standards
- Manage and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
- Write compelling, professional captions aligned with brand voice
- Maintain consistent posting schedules
- Monitor engagement and platform insights
- Professionally manage comments and direct messages
- Ensure visual consistency in tone, colour, styling and presentation
- Support Google review outreach processes and online reputation management
- This role is execution-focused and content-driven. Paid media and website development are handled externally.
The ideal candidate understands that brand perception drives growth and is capable of producing polished, elevated content that reflects a premium standard of care.
Requirements
• 2–4+ years experience in content creation and social media management
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar)
• Confident with filming in professional environments
• Strong understanding of lighting, framing and composition
• High attention to detail and visual consistency
• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
• Ability to maintain a consistent content schedule
• Strong written communication skills for professional captions
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Professional presentation and communication
