We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst Developer to join our IT Solutions team within a leading Asset Management firm. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that support both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Your ability to understand complex business processes, manipulate data from multiple sources, and present insights effectively will contribute directly to business success in a data-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Elicit and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting systems through the full development stack.
Integrate data from diverse sources to establish a trusted, unified data model (single source of truth).
Perform relational and dimensional data modelling to support analytical workloads.
Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights that drive business improvement.
Mentor and support junior team members in BI development and best practices.

Qualifications and experience:

A relevant degree in information systems, Computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a BI Analyst Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Power BI or Qlik.
Advanced SQL skills and strong database querying ability.
Excellent numeracy and analytical thinking skills.
Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.
Exposure to Snowflake, Talend, or Qlik.
Experience working in the financial or asset management sectors.
Demonstrated experience in delivering BI projects from conception to deployment.
