Business Performance Analyst (Johannesburg)

Job description

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, cost accounting and financial reporting

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support budgeting and forecasting processes across business units.

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, providing insights on performance and profitability.

• Develop and enhance management reporting systems and financial dashboards.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis on clients, sectors, and practice groups to identify trends.

• Support decision-making through financial modelling and feasibility studies.

• Prepare and review billing schedules, analysing estimates versus actual billings.

• Assist in preparing executive reports (EXCOM and FINCOM packs) with key financial insights.

• Monitor key financial metrics, including cost of sales, WIP, headcount movement, and rate leakage.

• Collaborate with IT to identify, test, and implement system and reporting improvements.

• Provide ongoing financial support and guidance to business leaders and stakeholders.
