What you’ll do:

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly smile.
  

• Assist customers with product information and recommendations.
  

• Operate tills accurately and efficiently (cashiers).
  

• Maintain store standards, displays, and stock levels.
  

• Ensure customers leave with a great shopping experience.

Requirements

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of products and services of the company
• Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Shop assistant: Ability to achieve replenishment standards safely and properly

Education and experience:

• Grade 12 qualification
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within the retail/ FMCG store operations environment.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
