Category Management Superintendent

Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Category Management Superintendent to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for improving costs, quality, and service, managing resources and stock, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage execution of strategies to improve costs, service, and quality across operations.
• Coordinate with strategic sourcing, stock management stakeholders, and suppliers to meet performance targets.
• Oversee commodity management.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts.
• Ensure data integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain business governance and compliance.
• Implement quality management processes.
• Conduct planning and resource optimization.
• Monitor budgets and control costs.
• Provide customer support and manage teams effectively.
• Oversee stock management.
• Ensure SHERQ compliance within own area of responsibility.
• Uphold strong work ethics.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
• 5 years’ experience in category management/commodity management
• 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Valid Driver’s License
