Position Available at: Sernick Feed Factory, Edenville

📍 Position Title: Code 14 Driver
Reporting to: Logistics Coordinator

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with a valid PDP

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience driving tanker and link trucks

• Strong understanding of mechanical issues (ability to identify and report faults)

• Extensive knowledge of truck driving laws, safety regulations, and road rules

• Clear criminal record and no recent driving violations

• Able to travel long distances and work extended hours

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

• Willingness to reside in a rural area

• Physically fit, adaptable, and capable of handling unexpected conditions (e.g., traffic or weather)

Additional Requirements:

• High standard of professional conduct

• Able to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport materials and products on-site

• Deliver products to customers and retailers

• Transport workers as needed

• Perform daily truck inspections and report any mechanical/safety issues

• Assist in planning routes and maintaining delivery schedules

• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping of vehicles

• Report any issues or hazards to your supervisor promptly

• Comply with company policies, including biosecurity, health, and safety

• Provide cross-functional support as needed within the Sernick Group
