Creative Strategist (Durban)

We're looking for an strategic creative thinker who can take a client brief and turn it into an idea that makes people stop, engage and talk about a brand.

This role is all about ideas. You'll work closely with our client service and project teams to develop concepts for activations, events, promotions and brand experiences that are bold, work in the real world, and deliver for our clients. 

What you'll be doing:

• Turn client briefs into original, insight-led campaign ideas that connect people with brands
• Lead the creative development of pitches, bringing ideas to life through compelling presentations and storytelling
• Develop creative concepts for activations, events, promotions and integrated brand brand experiences
• Bring fresh thinking to every brief by identifying consumer trends, cultural moments and new ways for brands to engage their audiences

What we're looking for

• Min. 5 years experience in an experiential, advertising or creative agency
• A proven ability to develop original campaign concepts from brief to pitch
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and creative storytelling
• Confidence presenting ideas to clients and leading creative pitch discussions
• A strong understanding of consumer behaviour, brands and experiential marketing
