Job Title: Creditors Clerk

Location: Cape Town, Phillipi

Company: Fidelity Security Services

Job Type: Full-time

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in finance, be a fast learner, have contactable references, and possess proven experience and qualifications in creditors/finance.

Key Responsibilities:
– Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
– Maintain vendor relationships and address any inquiries or discrepancies
– Prepare and review supplier statements and reconcile to the general ledger
– Verify and process expense reports
– Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
– Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:
– Proven experience working in a creditors or finance role
– Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Contactable references

Education:
– Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
