Education and Training Officer – Adult Programs (FTC)

Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Education and Training Officer to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for supporting adult learners through digital learning platforms, resources, and assessments while ensuring effective learning outcomes and compliance with educational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Guide adult learners through the digital learning environment, curated content, and past examination materials.
• Provide feedback on auto-graded assessments.
• Contribute to budgeting for facilities and resources needed to support adult learners.
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure adult learners have access to relevant learning materials.
• Identify barriers to learner success and implement appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and ethical facilitation practices.
• Stay updated with developments in adult learning methodologies and trends, benchmarking with other learning centers, and recommend improvements to processes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Education (B.Ed) or related
• Registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators)
• 3 years’ experience as a teacher in FET phase, teaching Mathematics and IsiZulu as a first language.
• Knowledge of DBE guidelines and Senior Certificate curriculum
