ENA's Psychiatric (Berea)

Our client is recruiting for a Trained Psychiatric ENA’s at a facility located in Berea, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Applicants must have psychiatric experience and be available to join immediately.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide patient care with demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatment protocols, medications, and risk prevention.

• Complete daily nursing documentation accurately.

• Perform routine nursing responsibilities such as monitoring clients during meals, observing individuals with eating disorders, and supervising clients identified as having suicidal or self-harm tendencies.

• Manage admissions professionally, ensuring new clients are welcomed, safe, and integrated without delay.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Nursing Manager.

Requirements:

• Relevant nursing qualification

• Registration with SANC

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric experience

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Knowledgeable about psychiatric healthcare

• Ability to provide effective patient care concerning psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication, and risk management

Salary: Above market rate, dependent on experience.
