Freelance Junior Graphic Designer (Johannesburg)

Vicinity Media is looking for a talented Freelance Designer to join our team on a remote basis!

Roles and responsibilities:

• Strong ability to re-create and adapt designs across multiple channels and screen formats while maintaining brand consistency.
• Create high-quality mock-ups for various products and features, ensuring alignment with briefs and seeking clarification when required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and Premiere Pro).
• Utilise software proficiently to resize, manipulate and enhance images.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines to deliver projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. 
• Work closely with the marketing coordinator on briefs and deadlines via Asana (traffic management system).
• Be adaptable and responsive to feedback and revisions from clients and team members.

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and produce high quality work.

Requirements

• Graphic design qualification.
• One to two years design experience (agency experience advantageous). 
• Knowledge of FIGMA/UI Design/Adobe XD advantageous.
• Proficient in full Adobe Creative Suite.
• Design portfolio with submission required.
• Remote role with occasional office visits required. 
• Must be available during working hours for feedback and revisions.
