Job description
Role overview and objectives
- Employment type: Freelance Contract / Fractional Retainer
- Time commitment: 6 – 8 hours per month (with potential to scale based on performance)
- Location: Remote
- Reporting To: Marketing Manager
Primary objectives:
- Infrastructure and tracking setup: Establish a secure, fully compliant Meta advertising ecosystem integrated seamlessly with HubSpot.
- Lead generation and conversion: Design and execute Meta Ad campaigns targeting High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals to secure qualified, booked consultation calls.
- Strategic collaboration: Provide expert technical oversight and optimization directives to support the internal Marketing Manager within a strict, highly efficient monthly hourly budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Phase 1: Infrastructure, Tracking and Funnel Setup (Initial Focus)
- Meta workspace architecture: Build, configure, and secure the company’s Meta Business Manager, Ads Accounts, Facebook/Instagram pages, and asset permissions from scratch.
- Advanced tracking Implementation: Deploy and verify the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate attribution.
- HubSpot and funnel integration: Integrate Meta lead forms and landing pages natively with HubSpot CRM, workflows, and the firm’s scheduling/calendar software to ensure zero lead leakage and automated data syncing.
Phase 2: Ongoing Campaign Strategy and Optimization (monthly retainer)
- HNW target architecture: Design, launch, and scale sophisticated Facebook and Instagram campaigns specifically tailored to attract and convert affluent audiences.
- Financial compliance management: Proactively manage and navigate Meta's strict special ad categories, financial services, and credit advertising policies to ensure 100% compliance and avoid ad rejections.
- Performance optimization: Monitor campaign health, optimize bidding strategies, refine audience targeting, and pass downstream conversion data (e.g. actual booked calls) back from HubSpot to Meta to train the algorithm.
- Collaboration and reporting: Partner with the internal marketing manager to review performance data, direct creative assets (copy/visual adjustments), and map out monthly spend allocation.
Candidate requirements and qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven track record: 4+ years of hands-on Meta Ads experience (building and running them), with a documented portfolio of generating high-intent leads or booked appointments for wealth management, asset management, private banking, or premium fintech/financial services.
- Fractional/retainer experience: Proven ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently within a low-hour monthly retainer structure.
Technical skills and systems:
- CRM: Deep proficiency in HubSpot CRM (tracking pixels, native forms, contact property mapping, and workflow integrations).
- Ad tech: Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, Events Manager, Conversions API (CAPI), and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Core competencies:
- Compliance savvy: Flawless understanding of financial advertising boundaries, privacy regulations, and compliance-safe ad copywriting.
- Analytical mindset: Ability to trace data from initial ad click through to HubSpot calendar bookings to optimize for Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) rather than just cheap impressions.
