Full Stack JavaScript PHP React Developer (Cape Town)

We are currently seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their innovative technology team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain robust web applications that enhance user experience, drive efficiency, and support the organization’s growth objectives.

 Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and manage servers on Azure
• Interpret technical requirements from briefs and propose solutions
• Work with a complex Symfony backend system
• Maintain and enhance ReactJS and ElectronJS applications, building new features project-by-project
• Plan and coordinate development tasks using DFDs, visuals, and code examples
• Estimate project timelines and difficulty levels based on briefs
• Manage and deliver client-based applications with diverse branding and themes
• Assist in software risk assessments, considering cross-platform compatibility, security, and platform limitations

 Skills & Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to write clean, efficient code
• Curious and motivated to learn new technologies and industry practices
• Familiarity with PHP limitations and workarounds
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for debugging websites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for peer-to-peer coding sessions and knowledge sharing
