General Maintenance Worker

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied maintenance position in a beautiful hospitality setting. Key Responsibilities including:

Perform daily maintenance across the property
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures
Respond promptly to maintenance call-outs to ensure guest comfort and safety
Carry out general repairs including plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and basic building maintenance

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in general maintenance within a hotel, estate, or similar environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or standby when required
Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
Valid driver?s licence (advantageous)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Relevant qualification or trade experience will be advantageous

Requirements

Proven track record in general maintenance (references essential)
Relevant trade qualification or solid hands-on experience advantageous
South African citizens only
