Position: Senior Security Supervisor

Location: Fidelity Cape Town

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to fill the role of Senior Security Supervisor. The Senior Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of the organization, ensuring the safety and security of all employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management and a proven track record of implementing effective security protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the security of the organization.
2. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
3. Manage and supervise a team of security guards, providing guidance and training as needed.
4. Monitor and respond to security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and other relevant authorities as necessary.
5. Investigate security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of security measures with organizational goals and objectives.
7. Maintain a high level of awareness of emerging security threats and technologies, staying abreast of industry best practices.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management, preferably in a corporate or Hospitality setting.
2. Psira registered (Grade A-B)
3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of security personnel.
4. Experience with security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and alarms.
5. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations.
