Implats is offering bursary opportunities to matriculants who meet the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• University exemption pass

• At least a C symbol in Mathematics and Science

What the Bursary Covers:

• Full registration and tuition fees

• Residence fees

• Cash allowance

• Personal computer allowance (from second year of study)

Fields of Study Funded:

• Engineering

• Mining

• Metallurgy

• Electrical (Heavy Current)

• Chemistry (up to Honours level)

• Geology (up to Honours level)

• Accounting (up to Honours level)

• Survey

• Human Resources (BCom up to Honours level)

Work & Vacation Requirements:

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Work for Implats for the full duration of the bursary

• Undertake vacation work at the company at the end of each academic year
