In-House Civil Engineer (Junior role)

Are you a Civil Engineering professional with a passion for site work, design, and seeing projects through from the ground up? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Junior Civil Engineer to join an innovative, fast-paced team in the advertising and billboard infrastructure industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in civil infrastructure designs from project inception to handover

• Conduct site inspections, DCP testing, and supervise concrete works and foundation layouts

• Draft and review site plans, access routes, and ground clearance requirements

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact billboard infrastructure projects

• Prepare detailed technical reports, measurements, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

• Travel frequently across South Africa for site-specific project execution

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or NQF Level 6 in Civil Engineering

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a civil engineering technical role (e.g., Civil Technician)

• Hands-on exposure to civil, roads, or structural projects

• Advantageous: Experience in billboard designs/drawings

• Afrikaans-speaking is essential due to operational requirements

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally
