Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Instrument Mechanician to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for supporting plant instrumentation reliability through effective maintenance planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance and reliability of instrumentation systems across the plant.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Perform fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting on instrumentation equipment.
- Assist with planning and executing maintenance schedules and tasks.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide technical support where required.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve instrumentation challenges efficiently.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate
- 4 years’ experience as an Instrument Mechanician
- Basic PLC programming
- Computer literacy (Intermediate)
- Valid Driver’s License
