Junior Account Manager – Maternity Cover

Ampd is a national below-the-line brand activation agency. We partner with brands and clients across South Africa to deliver a wide range of activation services, including premium promotional staffing, mall and in-store activations, national roadshows, events and other brand experiences.

We are looking for a highly organised, efficient and resourceful Junior Account Manager to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

The junior account manager acts as an important link between our clients and Ampd’s internal departments, including bookings, recruitment and training. You will help coordinate campaigns from briefing and planning through to execution, ensuring that every detail is managed professionally and efficiently.

• Manage day-to-day communication with clients in a warm and professional manner
• Coordinate projects across Ampd’s bookings, recruitment and training departments
• Assist with the planning and execution of brand activations, events and promotional campaigns
• Manage the booking department responsible for securing promotional staff
• Coordinate campaign logistics, staffing requirements and operational details
• Liaise with suppliers and obtain quotes where required
• Raise client quotations and invoices
• Book couriers and coordinate the movement of campaign materials
• Monitor deadlines and ensure that projects remain on track
• Provide general administrative and account management support
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to last-minute changes or operational challenges

Previous account management or brand activation agency experience would be advantageous, but we are also open to a highly organised, capable and fast-learning candidate with strong logistics and client-service experience.
