Junior Authenticator & Office Administrator (Johannesburg)

Salary: R16,000 per month

Role Overview
Luxity is looking for a Junior Authenticator and Office Administrator to support our authentication team and assist with general office administration. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about luxury fashion.
You will be trained in authenticating luxury goods under the supervision of our Head Authenticator, while also assisting with day-to-day admin tasks that support the authentication and intake process.

Key Duties and  Responsibilities
Authentication Support (Training Provided)

• Learn to authenticate luxury items (handbags, shoes, sunglasses, accessories, etc.) under supervision
• Assist with product research (brand details, materials, serials, date codes, reference checks)
• Support the intake process: checking items, tagging, logging, and preparing items for authentication review
• Assist with basic evaluation/conditioning notes and quality checks

Office and Admin Support

• Capture and maintain accurate records (intake forms, authentication checklists, internal tracking)
• Assist with supplier/seller documentation and ensuring required forms are completed
• Coordinate internal communications between buying/intake/authentication teams
• General office administration support as needed

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes precisely
• Excellent organisation and admin skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Neat and professional appearance
• Relevant experience or qualification in the fashion industry is a plus (luxury retail, fashion merchandising, accessories, etc.)
• Any prior exposure to luxury brands, resale, product inspection, or quality control is advantageous
