Requirements:

  • Minimum of a postgraduate or master’s degree.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a business environment, with a focus on Learning and Development, preferably within executive education.
  • Business development experience is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, learning trends and the competitive learning landscape.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior, executive, C-suite and board-level clients in an advisory or consulting capacity.
  • Coaching or process facilitation certification would be advantageous.
  • Professional registration with bodies such as HPCSA, SABPP or COMENSA would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the brand in the corporate learning and development market.
  • Develop new and existing business opportunities.
  • Gather, interpret and disseminate market intelligence.
  • Conduct market research and identify client, industry and market needs.
  • Design integrated learning journeys aligned with client and organisational objectives.
  • Monitor emerging trends, research, technologies and practices in executive education.
  • Contribute to programme budgets and commercial planning.
  • Develop, submit and present learning proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with CHE and university short course quality assurance requirements.
  • Secure and collaborate with facilitators, guest speakers and suppliers.
  • Oversee the creation and quality of learning management system sites and content.
  • Facilitate programme delivery and attend key client and participant touchpoints.
  • Guide action learning activities and assess group research projects.
  • Evaluate learning impact, participant engagement, learning outcomes and client feedback.
