Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful learners will receive formal training while assisting with various traffic law enforcement functions, including:
- Participate fully in the Traffic Learner Training Programme.
- Learn and apply South African road traffic legislation.
- Assist with traffic law enforcement operations.
- Support road safety awareness campaigns and community education initiatives.
- Assist with traffic control during road incidents, special events, and emergencies.
- Conduct vehicle inspections under supervision.
- Maintain professionalism and discipline throughout the training programme.
- Prepare reports and complete required administrative documentation.
- Develop knowledge of traffic regulations and enforcement procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA.
- Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- Possess a valid South African driver's licence.
- Have no criminal record.
- Have no visible tattoos.
- Be medically, mentally and physically fit to undergo the Traffic Learner training programme.
- Not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm in terms of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60 of 2000).
- Demonstrate the ability to drive a motor vehicle.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
