A leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Management Accountant to join its Business Support team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational, financial, and sales efficiencies by analyzing data, improving processes, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the business. Responsibilities

Develop, compile, and standardize daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports (e.g., Budget vs Actual, Projections, Efficiencies, Material Usage).

Develop, implement, maintain, and improve Power BI-based reports for use by various stakeholders.

Manage specified master data tables within ERP and other peripheral software/databases, including implementing procedures and change management controls for additions, changes, and deletions.

Review existing procurement processes, drive increased efficiencies, and propose improvements to reporting for decision-making.

Compile annual branch and capital budgets.

Maintain and administrate all data relating to pricing of goods to customers, including buying groups, customer groups, national price lists, and all related ERP tables.

Drive the collection and reporting of functional business information to enhance profitability and operational improvements.

Ensure implementation, application, and continuous improvement of practices, policies, standards, procedures, and methods.

Manage and support staff within the department and broader business.
Requirements
-
CA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified.

Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plastics environment with exposure to large datasets.

Experience in the manufacturing sector; exposure to warehousing and distribution is beneficial.

Experience in financial and operational functions within a business.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret numbers/data for strategic decision-making.

Knowledge of improving efficiencies in processes, controls, and reporting.

Advanced knowledge of data and analytics using Excel, SQL, Power BI, VBA, and AI technologies (e.g., ChatGPT).

Experience managing and training staff.

High IQ and EQ, quick thinker, and persuasive communicator.

Confident, well-spoken, eager to learn, and able to apply technology to solve business challenges.

Self-starter capable of working independently while supporting and managing other staff.

High integrity and strong business acumen.
