Job description

Volt Africa Cape Town has an exciting and challenging position for a dynamic Marketing Assistant with a passion for content creation to join our team. In this role, you will support our marketing efforts while driving the production of high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms. 

Marketing support:

• Assist in the execution of digital and social media marketing campaigns.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, audience insights, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support branding, promotional efforts, and events.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics and campaign results.
• Assist with project management of marketing campaigns.

Content production:

• Create and publish engaging social media & website content.
• Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and publication of materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative content ideas to captivate target audiences.

Requirements

Skills and qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and online advertising is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
