Media Research Intern (Randburg)

Job description

The primary role for the media research intern is to provide management with up-to-date, accurate and relevant information on country demographics, media landscapes and profiles of various TV, radio and outdoor media platforms based on research. 

Some other duties may also include:

• Help management in planning and developing affective sales pitches and presentations. 

• Help set up and attend meetings with clients and agencies.

• Observe sales processes by attending sales and service calls.

• Preparing tender documents.

• Preparing release orders.

• Communicating with the clients and media owners as and when required.

• Prospecting for new clients through research and networking within the industry.

• Media traffic and compliance monitoring.

Requirements

• A degree in media studies

• Background in accounting will be an added advantage

• High proficiency in MS Software

• Must have good interpersonal skills

• Must have good research skills

• Must be deadline driven
