Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Metallurgy Manager to join their mining company based in Limpopo. You will be responsible for leading a technical team in the safe and efficient management of production, maintenance, and laboratory processes, ensuring high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Oversee production, maintenance, and laboratory processes to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize workflow to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to support operational goals.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and output quality.
- Provide coaching, training, and development for team members.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- 5 years’ experience in a 3.1 legal appointment
- MBA/MBL would be advantageous
- Valid Driver’s License
