Mining Manager

Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for a Mining Manager to be based at a mine in the Northern Cape!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all mining operations, including bench preparation, drilling, blasting, load & haul, dump planning, and pit maintenance, ensuring alignment with project plans and safety standards.
• Manage geotechnical, survey, safety, environmental, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency through performance monitoring, cost management, equipment utilization, and continuous business improvement initiatives
• Ensure effective people management, including staffing, training, performance reviews, and development of operational teams.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships, ensuring service delivery meets SLAs and supports long-term project success.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Opencast Blasting Certificate
• Mining Manager’s Certificate of Competency
• 15 years of mining supervisory experience in an opencast mining environment
• Valid Driver’s License
