Requirements
Relevant Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Investment Management BCom General.
- Investment Management, Financial Management, Financial Analysis or related field
- Mathematics and Statistics, Data Analytics’, Quantitative finance or related field
- Strong Excel skills are required, including the ability to work confidently with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas (e.g. IF statements).
Advantagious
- Exposure to Fund administration, Investments environment, Fund accounintg fund administration or reconciliations
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, VBA, or other data visualisation and automation tools would be advantageous.
- Additional qualification Investment Management, Finacial markets, Financial Instraments
Knowledge & Experience
- Functional ability to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- South African citizens aged between 18 and 25 years.
- Unemployed at the time of application.

- On-the job training and learning: exposure to both on-the-job training and asynchronous learning opportunities, ultimately building a strong career foundation in financial services.
- Skills Development: gain hands-on experience in the workplace, developing practical skills crucial for future careers. This experience is often tailored to match the learner’s interests and career goals.
- Employment Readiness: By engaging in real-world work scenarios, learners become more competitive in the job market. By gaining insights into professional environments, workplace etiquette, and job-specific tasks, which enhances employability.
