Network & IT Support Field Technician

An established technology company is seeking a Network & IT Support Field Technician
in Montague Gardens, Western Cape to join their dynamic team. 

Requirements: 

• Valid unendorsed South African driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Willingness and ability to travel across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and occasionally other provinces or Southern African countries for up to two weeks at a time
• Valid passport and ability to travel to neighboring Southern African countries as required
• Technical acumen in computer support, IoT network maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Ability to resolve on-site problems while maintaining communication with the back office
• Willingness to work extra hours when required
• Computer literacy in Google Workspace and call-out/site inspection software

Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain relationships with regional customers
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot company equipment and systems at customer sites
• Establish and maintain support call cycles and submit accurate records and reports
• Perform administrative tasks as required
• Multi-task effectively, work independently under pressure, and maintain excellent interpersonal skills
