TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Office Coordinator: IT within the IT division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.
Job Summary
This role involves coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the Piet Retief IT office, ensuring that support tasks, technician activities, and helpdesk functions are executed efficiently in line with guidance from the IT Service Delivery Lead. It includes maintaining organised office operations, monitoring task completion, coordinating asset management processes, and upholding professional standards, while serving as the central on-site point of coordination to support effective IT service delivery to users and business operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate the daily operational activities of the Piet Retief IT office
Ensure that assigned support tickets, technical tasks, and operational requests are attended to within required timeframes
Monitor workflow and follow up with technicians and helpdesk staff to ensure work is completed effectively
Assist in prioritising and coordinating support activities as directed by the IT Service Delivery Lead
Ensure that IT assets, equipment, and stock received into the office are properly recorded and handled according to company procedures
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and professional standards within the IT office and work areas
Act as the primary operational contact point for the Piet Retief IT office
Escalate unresolved issues, operational concerns, or resource requirements to the IT Service Delivery Lead
Assist with coordination of technician scheduling, site visits, and task allocation where required
Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional conduct within the office environment
Ensure adherence to company IT policies, procedures, and service standards.
Provide basic administrative and operational support related to service delivery activities
Assist with onboarding and guidance of new trainees or junior staff members within the office
Qualifications and Skills
Matric (Grade 12)
CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications
CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Associate certifications, Ubiquiti (UBWS or equivalent), ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
2–4 years’ IT support experience
Proven experience leading or mentoring junior staff
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi), hardware, and end‑user devices
Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-focused skills
Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-through
Ability to work independently and in a team, with accountability
Attention to detail with good administrative accuracy
Basic leadership, conflict management, and escalation skills
Understanding of IT support environments and service delivery
