Operations Lead (Cape Town)

We’re looking for a Digital Media Lead to help shape and deliver our digital media offering across onsite and offsite channels, using data, technology and insights to drive measurable commercial results.

Who are we looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Lead with strong retail media, advertising or agency experience to lead campaign operations and a high-performing team. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving processes and ensuring digital and print campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently and to the highest standard
You should be a confident leader and client partner who is commercially minded, solutions-focused and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

What will you do:

• Lead the end-to-end campaign management and execution process, from booking and creative development through to implementation and reporting
  Manage and develop a team of Campaign Executives and operational resources
• Oversee digital and print media campaigns, ensuring deadlines, SLAs and quality standards are met
• Manage third-party suppliers and media partners from briefing through to execution
• Act as the key quality gatekeeper, ensuring bookings and artwork meet campaign guidelines and specifications
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery, compliance and reporting issues
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across campaign management
• Work closely with Media, Insights, Platforms, Sales and Account teams to improve campaign delivery
• Build strong relationships with mid-to-senior-level clients and act as a trusted advisor
• Proactively identify challenges, recommend solutions and ensure excellent client service
• Provide visibility on team performance, campaign delivery and operational improvements to Senior Leadership

What will you need:

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Advertising, Business Management, Communications or a related field
  8–15 years’ experience in retail media, campaign management, advertising or a related environment
• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Strong experience managing both digital and print media campaigns
• Experience managing third-party suppliers, vendors and media partners
• Solid understanding of retail media, media platforms and media planning
• Knowledge of creative development, artwork specifications and approval processes
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills
• Experience with campaign performance reporting, metrics and compliance
• Excellent organisational, project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and evolving environment
