Job Description
Join Entyce Beverages, part of AVI Limited, where you’ll help shape the packaging strategy behind some of South Africa’s most recognised beverage brands, including Five Roses, Freshpak, Frisco, House of Coffees and Ellis Brown.
This is an opportunity to combine strategic sourcing, supplier management, artwork governance and commercial procurement within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Working closely with Procurement, Marketing, Packaging Technology, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring packaging innovation, supply continuity and cost optimisation across the business.

Direct Reports: Procurement Specialist
Your Impact
You’ll be responsible for driving the procurement and strategic sourcing of packaging materials while leading artwork governance and supplier performance. Through strong commercial negotiation, market analysis and stakeholder collaboration, you’ll ensure packaging availability, minimise supply risk and support continuous improvement across the business.
Key Areas of Impact:
Lead strategic sourcing activities across packaging categories
Develop supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements
Manage packaging artwork and specification governance
Oversee WebCentre artwork workflow and packaging approvals
Drive packaging cost savings and budget reporting
Analyse supplier performance and procurement spend
Mitigate packaging supply risks through forecasting and contingency planning
Lead and develop the Procurement Specialist
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability objectives
What It Takes to Succeed:
Essential:
Packaging Professional qualification (International Institute of Packaging) or equivalent
Procurement or Business qualification
3+ years’ packaging procurement experience
Experience managing supplier relationships
Contract negotiation experience
Packaging specification management
Knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes
Experience working with artwork management systems
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Advantageous:
Advanced Packaging Diploma
Degree in Food Science
Artwork Management certification
FMCG manufacturing experience
Packaging development experience
SAP
WebCentre
Sustainability sourcing exposure
