A leading Mining Services organisation is looking to appoint a skilled Payroll Specialist with solid end-to-end payroll expertise and familiarity with core HR administrative tasks. This is a fully onsite position based in Germiston, working closely with the Finance Department and a Payroll Clerk responsible for timekeeping. The role manages payroll for roughly 150–200 employees and provides additional HR support where required.
Responsibilities

Full end-to-end payroll processing on Sage

Monthly payroll calculations and statutory submissions

Printing and distributing payslips
-
Managing leave, benefits, and UIF processes
-
Ensuring payroll compliance and accurate employee data management

Assisting with HR administration and documentation

Supporting employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records

Providing HR-related guidance when required

Attending company hearings when necessary
Requirements
-
3–5+ years payroll experience (Sage experience required)

Proven experience managing payroll for 150–200 employees
-
Payroll Certificate or BCom Degree in HR (essential)

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Ability to work independently and take initiative
-
Willing and able to work onsite full-time
