The GIT Programme is a 24-month development journey designed for recent graduates who are passionate about building a career in South Africa’s renewable energy sector. This immersive experience offers a structured, fast-paced learning environment across a key business function:

To be considered for the GIT Programme, applicants must meet the following:

  • Have completed, or be in the final year of study toward, one of the following undergraduate or honours degrees:
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in:
    • Investment Management
    • Finance (specialising in Investment)
    • Management Sciences (specialising in Investment Management)
    • Accounting
    • Economics
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) specialising in:
    • Finance, Investment & Banking
  • Industrial Psychology / HR Management / Labour Relations Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum Qualification: At least an Honours degree in Social Science, such as Development Studies, Sociology, Political Studies.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
