Hire Resolve’s client in the clothing retail industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Planner to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities
- Sales forecasting
- Financial and strategic product management skills
- Develop, implement, and control all aspects of merchandise planning
- Collaborate with all parts of the business e.g. distribution, store design, etc.
- Work closely with the fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers
- Systems used internationally in conjunction with bespoke in-house systems
- Ensuring that the right mix of merchandise reaches the right stores at the right price and on time
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience preferably within a fashion retailer
- Relevant numerical tertiary qualification
- Advantageous systems e.g. Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Systems oriented
- Strong trader instinct
- Willing and open to contributing ideas for the greater success of the business
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- Agility, flexibility and adaptability.
- Must be situated in the Western Cape
