The Role

We are looking for a talented PR Account Manager with +4 years agency experience to manage a multinational cybersecurity and networking client. This PR and media relations guru will be driving day-to-day PR activity, supporting diaries for executives, coordinating intimate media events, and assisting with suppliers, invoicing and budget processes. You will shape media stories, build strong relationships with journalists and ensure consistent delivery across PESO channels.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities Working closely with a team of 4 for this account, you will manage and drive the following areas:

Client and Account Management

Lead daily communication with the client and support senior executives with scheduling and coordination of press interviews.
Assist with invoicing and ensure smooth operational delivery.
Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, products and industry landscape.
Work closely with your Account Director on PR strategy, messaging and proactive opportunities.

Content and Media

Issue press releases, thought leadership, Q and A, and media pitches to tier 1 business and tech press.
Identify daily newsjacking opportunities and relevant commentary topics.
Build and maintain relationships with SA tech, business and mainstream media.
Coordinate interviews, media briefings and event support.

Campaign Execution

Plan and execute PR campaigns and product announcements.
Brief suppliers and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Track coverage, monitor share of voice and prepare monthly reports.

Team Support

Work closely with the broader HLS account team.
Guide junior team members when needed.
Contribute to new business proposals.
