Product Photographer (Johannesburg)

Role description:

• You are creative, detail-oriented, organised and quality-driven.
• You have a strong eye for visual presentation but understand that this role is equally about accuracy and consistency. You take pride in your work, notice the small things and are comfortable working with high-value products.
• Most importantly, you understand that every photograph and product detail contributes to the customer's experience and ultimately the sale.

Key responsibilities

• Photograph luxury products to a consistent, high-quality standard.
• Capture all relevant angles, details and condition of each product in Lightbox or on props.
• Edit and retouch images using professional editing software.
• Ensure images accurately represent the colour, condition and details of each product.
• Upload product images and information to the Luxity website.
• Quality-check uploads to ensure correct products and details are reflected.
• Manage daily photography and upload requirements while meeting turnaround times.
• Handle all luxury products carefully and responsibly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

What we're looking for:

Essential

• Previous product photography experience.
• Strong photography (Canon) and lighting skills.
• Strong photo-editing skills, preferably using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar. 
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and consistency.
• Good computer literacy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload.

Advantageous
Experience in:

• E-commerce or product photography
• E-commerce platforms or CMS systems
• High-volume product environments
