Project Manager / Senior Site Manager

A leading construction firm with a strong footprint in upmarket residential and commercial developments is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to oversee and deliver exceptional projects in locations such as Bishopscourt, Constantia, Clifton, and Stellenbosch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of on-site construction from inception to handover.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams for optimal workflow.

• Accurately interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, architects, and engineers.

• Address project challenges swiftly and professionally.

• Uphold and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance.

• Monitor resource allocation and optimize material and labour usage.

• Foster a high-performance culture through leadership and mentorship.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or National Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Building Science.

• 5–10 years’ proven experience managing luxury residential and/or commercial projects.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, high-end builds.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.

• Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies and local building regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Afrikaans-speaking preferred but not essential.

• Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable.
