Who Can Apply for the Rand Water Learnership 2026?
Before you apply, make sure you meet ALL of these requirements:
✔️ You are currently unemployed
✔️ You are not studying or registered for another learnership
✔️ You do not have any completed post-matric qualification
✔️ You have Matric (Grade 12) with:
• Mathematics (minimum Level 3)
• Physical Science (minimum Level 3)
✔️ You are a South African citizen
✔️ You are between 18 and 35 years old
✔️ You can submit a SAQA / NLRD verification report

What You Will Learn
Successful candidates will gain practical and classroom-based training in:
- Water pipeline installation and maintenance
- Wastewater reticulation systems
- Leak detection and pipe repairs
- Meter reading and pressure monitoring
- Safety procedures and compliance
- Practical logbook completion and assessments
