Who Can Apply for the Rand Water Learnership 2026?

Before you apply, make sure you meet ALL of these requirements:

✔️ You are currently unemployed
✔️ You are not studying or registered for another learnership
✔️ You do not have any completed post-matric qualification
✔️ You have Matric (Grade 12) with:
  • Mathematics (minimum Level 3)
  • Physical Science (minimum Level 3)
✔️ You are a South African citizen
✔️ You are between 18 and 35 years old
✔️ You can submit a SAQA / NLRD verification report

Important: If you already have a post-matric qualification, you will not be considered.

What You Will Learn

Successful candidates will gain practical and classroom-based training in:

• Water pipeline installation and maintenance
• Wastewater reticulation systems
• Leak detection and pipe repairs
• Meter reading and pressure monitoring
• Safety procedures and compliance
• Practical logbook completion and assessments
