To support DC Operations by ensuring the accurate, timely and controlled creation of system transactions that drive stock integrity, operational efficiency and an exceptional customer experience.
What you will love doing in this role
System Transactions & Stock Control
Open let-down transactions within 1 hour of stock being reserved in bulk.
Support DC KPAs by ensuring reserved stock stuck in bulk is managed within target thresholds:
Raise the Bar: 15%
WOW our customer: 5%
Open daily push-up transactions to effectively manage pickface ageing and optimise utilisation of available full pallet pickfaces.
Maintain slotting integrity by ensuring the designated location/SKU relationship is not compromised.
Accurately and timeously open transactions to replenish all slotted areas.
Ensure all full pallet pickfaces contain a single SKU at all times.
Process all system adjustments accurately following Management sign-off.
Open all ad hoc transaction requests within 1 hour of receipt.
Raise transactions to clear the returns putaway area in line with operational requirements.
Assign and communicate all open transactions to QWIX for execution by Operations.
Monitor the ageing of open transactions and escalate any transactions older than 24 hours to the relevant Operations HOD.
Provide support on any additional ad hoc operational requirements as needed.
Administration & Reconciliation
Reconcile the physical execution of transactions against system records to ensure accurate stock movement by the Operations teams.
Maintain accurate record keeping and filing of all adjustments and posted stock counts.
Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all ad hoc system requests.
Health and Safety
Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety standards and DC safety protocols.
What you’ll need to do this role
Grade 12 / Matric / NQF 4 (minimum requirement).
3–5 years’ clerical experience within a Distribution Centre environment.
Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience.
Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience capturing and processing stock transactions accurately on a WMS or similar system.
Ability to process high volumes while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Understanding of stock control and loss prevention principles
Ability to follow returns and authorization procedures strictly.
Strong sense of accountability when handling high-value goods.
Medically fit to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role within a DC environment.
Must have reliable transport to and from the Blackheath Distribution Centre and be able to accommodate operational shift requirements, including weekends and public holidays.
Clear criminal and credit record.
