Sales Regional Manager (Johannesburg)

Job description

Requirements:A minimum of a National Diploma or Degree.

• A minimum of 5+ years' sales experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
• Experience within financial services, SME lending, merchant acquiring, fintech, or a related industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AI and data analytics is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed sales targets in line with business expectations.
• Utilise, update, and assess all reporting and sales tools, including salesforce.
• Set monthly and quarterly regional sales goals and performance reports.
• Communicate commission structures and earnings to the sales team.
• Successfully deliver additional initiatives and meet national sales executive expectations.
• Manage the regional sales team in line with agreed KPIs.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations against KPIs, development goals, and objectives.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop, implement, and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve continual business growth.
• Ensure clients receive exceptional sales and operational customer service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and support regional growth initiatives through site visits and change management.
