Job Description

The Parts Picker Packer is responsible for ensuring that parts requested by workshop personnel and customers are picked and supplied efficiently and on time.

The role also involves maintaining the Parts Storeroom, monitoring stock and ensuring that parts are correctly stored, documented and dispatched.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Pick and deliver the correct parts to customers and the Workshop.
• Pack parts and arrange deliveries or collections when required.
• Complete invoices, payment documents and other official paperwork accurately.
• Work with the Workshop to ensure parts availability.
• Receive and inspect incoming packages and resolve discrepancies.
• Dispatch parts and verify dispatched items against invoices.
• Load and unload parts and place them in the correct bin locations.
• Maintain the bin register for new locations.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Monitor parts movement and stock levels.
• Ensure outgoing goods documentation matches the relevant paperwork.
• Liaise with Parts Sales regarding orders and deliveries.
• Monitor spare parts and inventory.
• Assist with stock takes.
• Keep the Parts Storeroom clean and organised.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
