Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Section Surveyor to join their mining company based in North-West. You will be responsible for managing and verifying all mine surveying and measurement activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective operational planning.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey plans for development and production activities.
- Update and verify layouts to reflect current mine conditions.
- Identify survey areas and allocate tasks to survey team members.
- Review and approve survey notes and data for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all survey plans meet legal and operational standards.
- Establish and maintain survey control points and align equipment as required.
- Report any deviations or non-conformances in mining operations.
- Oversee measurement tasks and validate production data within relevant systems.
- Approve measurement information for operational and performance purposes.
- Provide accurate mining and production information to support planning and reporting.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Advanced Mine Survey Certificate OR
- Diploma/BTech in Mine Surveying
- Studying towards Mine Surveyor Certificate of Competency (Advantageous)
- 5 years’ experienced as a Surveyor within the mining industry
- Valid Driver’s License
