What we are looking for:

Strong background in automation
Strong skills in Bash, Ksh or Python scripting
Experience with Azure
Experience with Docker, OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
Experience with Unix/Linux
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity practices
A keen interest in finance
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, maturity and the ability to work in a team
Collaboration - the nature of what we do requires us to huddle around whiteboards
debate solutions with the team, and talk to each other often - this means that we all work together in person in the office
Depending on the level you apply for, anywhere between 2 and 10+ years of experience in DevOps

Nice-to-have:

Experience with Helm and ArgoCD
DevSecOps experience
IaC experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
Knowledge of SQL
Ideally, a degree in Computer Science or a related field
Previous experience in financial services, specifically credit and transactional products

Reference number for this position is GZ61508 which is a permanent position based in Rosebank offering a salary of R1.4m per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
